Returns & Refunds Policy

Semleys Joinery Ltd

At Semleys Joinery Ltd, we take pride in the quality of our workmanship and aim to ensure all customers are satisfied with their order. This policy outlines our approach to returns, refunds, and cancellations.

Bespoke & Made-to-Measure Items

Most of our products are bespoke and made to order. As such:

• Bespoke or made-to-measure items cannot be returned or refunded once production has started, unless the item is faulty or not as described.

• This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exclude custom-made goods from standard cancellation rights.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as agreed:

• You must notify us within 7 days of delivery or installation.

• Please provide a description of the issue along with photographs where possible.

• We will inspect the issue and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, or refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Standard (Non-Bespoke) Items

Where applicable, standard off-the-shelf items may be returned if:

• You notify us within 14 days of receipt.

• The item is unused, in its original condition, and returned with any packaging.

• Return costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled before production begins without charge.

• Once materials have been ordered or work has commenced, cancellation may incur costs to cover materials, labour, or design work already undertaken.

Installation Services

• Once installation work has been completed, services are non-refundable, unless proven to be faulty or not carried out with reasonable care and skill.
